Food and Drink

Food and drink produced in Lincolnshire is at the very heart and soul of our way of life.

Whether it’s a quick bite or a three course meal, you’ll be sure to find something to suit you. Many of Gainsborough’s independent eateries use local produce and champion this whenever they can.

There are great places to eat throughout the town. There’s quality coffee and fresh dishes to try at the town’s coffee shops – Clock House, Cream and Reeds.

You can find friendly pubs and bars in the town centre offering fantastic local grub and an opportunity to relax during the evening.

Or, if you’d like a more unique experience, why not try The Forge Restaurant and Bar – offering modern seasonal dishes inspired by classics.

Weekly markets also take place in the Market Place as well as a regular Farmers and Craft Market on the second Saturday of the month in Marshall’s Yard from 9am to 4pm.
