UKATA is instantly recognised and respected for the exacting standards in asbestos training delivered by its Members in accordance with current HSE Legislation.
After undergoing a lengthy and rigorous process, Gelder Group has been approved as a UKATA Approve Training Centre, the only one in Lincoln. Gelder Ltd are now UKATA approved for the delivery of asbestos awareness training for employees and other third parties wishing to use our services.

One of my aims for the newly formed H&S department is for Gelder Ltd to be able to deliver tailored asbestos awareness training in line with our employee’s training needs, whilst still being recognised to industry best practice standards (UKATA). Creating a training programme and supporting information for employees, that not only meets Gelder employees needs and UKATA standards, has been a tough process but rewarding now we are approved. As part of UKATA’s approval process, I needed to obtain an additional asbestos management qualification and sit UKATA’s tutor knowledge exam.
