Mystery surrounds the loss of Jack and his magic beanstalk but it’s no giant problem for us as we have still got your traditional festive panto covered.

Ex Coronation Street Star, Scott Wright who played Sam Kingston and was nominated for a National TV Award whilst on the will be starring in the panto.

Whilst searching around the magic kingdom for our main character, we were caught up in a whirlwind of enchantment and Jack’s farm suffered floods and drought, and as a result the magic beans didn’t grow…

However, beneath it all, Trio Entertainment helped us to uncover a fantastical yellow brick road and we discovered some brand new friends and celebrities along the way.

If you love adventure and are brave and clever enough – maybe you can help us follow the yellow brick road… all the way back to our fabulous Grade II listed venue in Gainsborough.

Craig Sanders, Trinity Arts Centre Manger said he was delighted to bring Trio Entertainment on board to deliver our annual pantomime.

He said: “Our recovery from the pandemic hasn’t been short of its challenges, and we are not alone with theatres and companies across the country experiencing unprecedented pressures in finance, resources and staffing. I’m thrilled that we have been able to maintain our annual Pantomime at Trinity, and we are ready to welcome the thousands that join us for some festive cheer and family focussed magical moments.”

“We are delighted to welcome Trio Entertainment and ex Coronation Street star, Scott Wright to the Trinity Arts Centre to perform the magical Wizard of Oz production to the district. Trio bring with them a wealth of experience having produced many traditional pantos across the country.

“I am sure they will have audiences swept away somewhere over the rainbow. But remember all you have to do is click your heels three times and remember there is no place like Trinity.”

Trio Entertainment signed up to the production for 2022 and is looking forward to bringing laughter and joy to audiences in West Lindsey.

They said: “We are thrilled to be bringing our production of The Wizard of Oz to the Trinity Arts Centre this Christmas. We can’t wait to transform the theatre into the magical land of oz with loads of panto fun for all the family.

“The Trinity Arts Centre is a fantastic venue and such a lovely space where every seat gets a fantastic view of the stage and the audience can really feel part of the magic.”
